This is Alan Ibbotson’s first CD album release on the Rising Records label.
It features 11 tracks of excellent original folk rock.

The album was produced by Pete Bangert. He also performed on a number of the tracks in various guises as well as carrying out the engineering, mastering and graphic design

These tracks are a superb collection of intelligent lyrics, coupled with classic folk/rock oriented music. They deal with a spectrum of the human condition, varying from being trapped in a bed-sit in a huge city, through lost love and entanglements, via ethereal ancient magic, to tales and wistful memories of lost youth. The album was originally based around the seasonal cycle of a summer, but quickly expanded to cover other aspects of life, both past and future. It is a hugely applicable work and will resonate with everybody’s personal experience at some point in their life.

You can listen to samples from these tracks above.
